Canadian K-12
Canadian K-12 is Kindergarten through grade 12 schooling. This designation is used not only in Canada but in United States. K-12 is pronounced "k twelve", "k through twelve", or "k to twelve. Kindergarten is a German word which literally means "children's garden". The 12 in K-12 is grade 12 which is the final year of secondary school in Canada.
